Philippines: are you ready for the country's first Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament?

Mark your calendars, Pinoy fighting game fans, as Mineski and Pinoy Versus are hosting the country’s first ever Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament as part of the Mineski Pro Gaming League (MPGL) on June 15, 2014. The latest installment of the Street Fighter franchise features new characters and balance changes for improved game play.

The tournament will have a prize pool of PhP 2,500 ($57.35) plus a percentage of the total registration fees, which will be distributed as follows:

Champion – PhP 1,000 ($22.94) + 50 percent of total registration fees
2nd place – PhP700 ($16.06) + 30 percent of total registration fees
3rd place – PhP 300 ($6.88) + 20 percent of total registration fees
