Philippines and Singapore are your Dragon Nest Championship Series 2014 winners!

The Dragon Nest Championship Series 2014 has come to a close, with team MSIEVOGT from the Philippines crowned champion of the Dragon Nest Championship Series 2014 3v3 PvP showdown.

The young Philippines representatives put up a fierce fight against Malaysia’s team SDD, narrowly beating Low “Whitecolor” Yuen Hoo from the latter team to take home the gold.

Meeko “Meeko28” Ramos, 21, speaking on behalf of MSIEVOGT, said that himself, his 19-year-old teammate Rysher “Sweetnest” Magbanua, and 20-year-old brother Norberto “Harimechan” Ramos III, had been playing Dragon Nest since its launch in Southeast Asia back in 2012, and that they had been a team for two years now.

He added that they would be using the Alienware 17 laptops they won to train further in Dragon Nest PvP. The laptops were hard earned, as team SDD’s Low “Whitecolor” Yuen Hoo tried his best to carry his team through the grand finals, managing to take out Sweetnest’s Elestra before getting out down by Harimechan’s Saint. Singapore’s team Mad.JPL took third place for the 3v3 PvP challenge. Watch the exciting grand finals here!

Singapore’s Kenneth “Qunoikari” Gan took home the gold for the 1v1 PvP challenge of the championship series, redeeming the competition’s host country just a little. He squared off against Malaysia’s Muhammad Aqwa “Abyslord” Nazim in a showdown that can only be done justice if you watch it on Cherry Credits’ Twitch channel. Check out photos of the winners here:
