Singapore’s Perx banks $5m from Line, Eduardo Saverin, others

Singapore-based customer engagement and loyalty startup Perx Technologies today announced it raised US$5 million in its series B round. Line Ventures, Access Ventures, Ncore Ventures, and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, among other investors, participated in the round. This brings Perx’s total funding to US$11 million.

The injection will be used to enhance the startup’s research and development efforts, accelerate client acquisition, and increase partnerships with global software and technology companies.

Perx and American Express

Perx is an AI-enabled platform that helps brands enhance their customer engagement and loyalty programs. Its solutions include loyalty management, marketing analytics, and rewards management, among others.

In 2015, Perx pivoted from being a pure mobile loyalty app to helping clients with their customer engagement. The startup was founded in 2011 and counts brands like HSBC, Prudential, United Overseas Bank, and Sephora as clients. It claims to have engaged over 50 million consumers globally.
