One Studios will produce original films and shows it hopes to distribute via the company’s existing global TV broadcast partners as well as digital partners such as Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, and Amazon. One Championship’s own athletes will star in the shows, said founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong in a Facebook post, revealing that One Studios’ first movie project is underway.

In May 2018, One Championship launched a video-streaming app, which features its own martial arts content as well as related licensed material such as movies and other competitions. Later that year, the sports media company raised US$166 million in a series D round led by Sequoia Capital.
