Founded last year, Omni HR’s main offering is an employee management system that helps companies execute human resource processes such as employee onboarding and leaves and document management.
In March this year, the company soft-launched the platform, which has since seen clients like fintech firms Ajaib and Reap. For now, it wants to focus on acquiring users in Singapore and Indonesia.
Omni HR was established by data engineer YC Chan and former Goldman Sachs executive Brian Ip. In a statement, the pair said they believe that local players like their company have an advantage compared to global players, as local firms know the different employment rules in their home country.
The firm plans to use the fresh funding for product development purposes and aims to launch a recruitment module by Q3 and a performance management module by Q4 this year.
