Securing the licence from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority indicates how OKX is prioritizing a regulated environment and how regulatory compliance offers protection to investors.

Apart from establishing a regional hub in Dubai, the Seychelles-based exchange said it will also set up its team and infrastructure in the UAE.

Founded in 2017, OKX offers non-fungible tokens and metaverse-related services, alongside trading GameFi and decentralized finance tokens. With a presence in over 180 markets, the crypto exchange has a user base of 20 million.
