In brief: Malaysia proptech startup grabs equity funding from Cradle Fund

Malaysia-based proptech startup NexPlatform has raised RM 775,000 (US$190,000) through Cradle Fund’s Direct Equity 800 investment program. This is the startup’s first round of fundraising since its establishment in 2016.

NexPlatform plans to use the new capital to upgrade its platform and services, strengthen its market position as a “centralized real estate platform,” and increase its headcount.

The startup offers property developers, agencies, solicitors, and banks a range of back-end marketing and sales solutions. It claims to support 5,000 users, completing close to 30,000 property transactions on its platform.
