ZTE launches AI data center module up to 250kW

ZTE, a Chinese telecom equipment maker, said on 22 October 2026 that it launched its M8000 micro-module data center at Data Center World Asia.

The company said the system is for AI workloads, which are raising rack power demands and speeding the shift from air cooling to liquid cooling.

ZTE said the system supports air and liquid cooling.

Rack power ranges from 20 kW to 60 kW, and can reach 250 kW per rack.

The company also said the product has UL system-level leak-proof certification and uses 800V high-voltage direct current power distribution.

The product competes with Vertiv, which offers micro data centers and introduced micro-modular systems with AI features in Asia.
