Zoom will launch an upgraded AI Companion for Workspace users by the end of March 2025.

The new tool will feature a “Tasks” tab, allowing users to schedule follow-up meetings, create documents, and generate video clips from meetings.

A mobile app voice recorder will also be available later in March to record, transcribe, and summarize in-person meetings.

In May, Zoom will introduce live notes, providing real-time summaries during meetings and phone calls. These updates will be available at no extra cost to Workspace users.

Additionally, a US$12-per-month Custom AI Companion add-on is set to launch in April, offering an AI-generated custom avatar and generic avatar templates.

These enhancements aim to boost productivity and streamline workflows within the Zoom ecosystem.
