Zomato’s parent company breaks out enterprise AI business

Eternal Limited, the Indian company behind Zomato and Blinkit, said it increased investment in Nugget, its enterprise AI platform.

The move comes as its Others product segment posted an EBITDA loss of 940 million rupees (US$9.7 million) in the first quarter of FY27, up from 450 million rupees (US$4.66 million) a year earlier.

According to its website and LinkedIn page, Nugget was first built for Eternal’s own businesses before expanding to enterprises globally.

The platform automates workflows across channels including voice and chat.

Eternal said the quarter-on-quarter rise in losses was largely driven by R&D spending on Nugget as it expanded the AI product’s capabilities.
