Zomato, the Indian food technology company, has officially changed its name to Eternal Limited, effective Mar. 20, 2025.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs approved the name change, and the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association have been updated.

This rebranding follows a special resolution passed by Zomato’s shareholders earlier this month.

This is the second name change for the company, which was originally founded as Foodiebay in 2008 and rebranded to Zomato in 2010.

The name change aligns with Zomato’s strategic shift as its quick commerce division, Blinkit, gains importance.
