Zomato introduces 15-minute delivery in Delhi

Zomato has introduced a 15-minute food delivery service in select areas of Delhi, available through its app for customers within a two-kilometer radius.

This launch follows Swiggy’s introduction of its own 15-minute delivery service, which operates in multiple cities and partners with over 2,700 restaurants.

Additionally, Zomato’s quick commerce subsidiary, Blinkit, launched a separate app called Bistro in December 2024, focusing on delivering meals and snacks within the same timeframe.

The competition in the quick food delivery market is intensifying, with Swiggy planning further expansions and other players like Zepto also active in this space.

Earlier, Zomato’s stock fell by 5% on Tuesday after a bearish outlook from Jefferies, reflecting concerns over competitive pressures in India’s food delivery market.
