Zomato-backed fitness startup faces 42% rise in losses

CureFit, a fitness startup backed by Zomato, reported a consolidated net loss of 888.5 crore rupees (US$106.6 million) for the financial year ending March 2024.

This figure represents a 42% increase from the 625.5 crore rupees (US$ 75 million) loss in the previous fiscal year.

The company faced a 33.6% rise in operating revenue to 926.6 crore rupees (US$ 111.2 million). The growth was largely driven by 46.58% increase in service revenue and 8.15% growth for product sales.

However, these improvements were not enough to offset the company’s mounting losses.
