Zerodha-backed Rainmatter invests $32m in 47 startups
Zerodha-backed Rainmatter invested 275 crore rupees (US$32 million) in 2024 across 47 startups, focusing on climate and health sectors, according to Nithin Kamath, co-founder and CEO of Zerodha.
The fund invested in 15 climate-focused startups, 16 in health, and eight in fintech.
Since 2016, Rainmatter has invested around 700 crore rupees (US$81.5 million) in over 100 startups.
Dinesh Pai, head of Rainmatter, said that the firm intends to allocate 1,000 crore rupees (US$116.4 million) for future investments.
