Zepto files confidential papers for $1.3b India IPO: sources
Zepto has filed confidential draft papers with India’s market regulator for a planned US$1.3 billion IPO, according to sources.
The Bengaluru-based quick commerce firm is targeting a listing between July and September 2026.
Founded in 2021, Zepto plans to raise about 11,000 crore rupee (US$1.2 billion) in fresh funds, alongside a secondary share sale by early investors.
The company reported revenue of 9,669 crore rupee (US$1.1 billion) in FY2024 to FY2025, up 129% year-on-year, but posted a net loss of 3,367 crore rupee (US$375 million).
Zepto had around 7,000 crore rupee (US$779.6 million) in cash as of November, compared with 17,000 crore rupee (US$1.9 billion) to 18,000 crore rupee (US$2 billion) held by rivals Swiggy and Eternal.
It competes with Swiggy, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, and Amazon Now, with Morgan Stanley and several others managing the IPO.
