YouTuber MrBeast joins bid to buy TikTok

Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, has joined a group of American investors looking to purchase TikTok’s United States operations.

This move comes amid efforts to separate TikTok from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, due to national security concerns.

The investor group, led by Jesse Tinsley, founder of Employer.com, includes institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals.

Details of the all-cash bid and the names of the investors involved have not been disclosed.

The group is represented by the law firm Paul Hastings, which has confirmed Brad Bondi as part of its legal team.

ByteDance, TikTok, and MrBeast’s representatives have not commented on the bid.
