YouTube, Shopee team up to boost Thai ecommerce shopping

YouTube has partnered with Shopee to extend its Shopping affiliate program to Thailand.

This initiative allows content creators in Thailand to tag Shopee products in their videos.

Thailand is the fourth country to join this program, following its successful debut in Indonesia.

The initiative enables Thai YouTube creators to earn revenue by recommending products during their videos.

In 2023, YouTube users watched over 30 billion hours of shopping-related content. A Kantar survey found that 87% of Thai viewers use YouTube for decision-making.
