YouTrip restores services after vendor glitch causes outage
YouTrip, a Singapore-based multicurrency payments app, said all services had returned to normal after an outage disrupted most operations.
The fintech company attributed the disruption to a technical issue in a third-party vendor’s system. After the issue was resolved, YouTrip said its immediate priority was to monitor the vendor’s system stability.
The firm said users’ funds and accounts were safe.
This comes as YouTrip earlier on October 19 experienced an outage across most of its services in Singapore and Thailand.
