Y Combinator joins $24m round for AI memory platform Mem0

Mem0, a company offering memory infrastructure for AI applications, has raised US$24 million across its seed and series A rounds.

The seed round was led by Kindred Ventures, while Basis Set Ventures led the series A, with participation from Peak XV Partners, GitHub Fund, and Y Combinator.

Angel investors include Scott Belsky, Dharmesh Shah, and several tech founders.

Mem0 provides developers with tools to integrate personalized memory functions into AI agents, aiming to address challenges around context retention and user personalization.

The company reports adoption by startups and enterprises, as well as integrations with products such as CrewAI, Flowise, and Langflow.

Mem0 said it was selected as the memory provider for AWS’s new Agent SDK.

The platform has reportedly crossed 41,000 GitHub stars and 14 million Python package downloads, with API calls rising from 35 million in Q1 to 186 million in Q3 this year.
