XPeng tops January EV sales with 268% growth
XPeng Motors led EV sales in January 2025 with 30,350 deliveries, marking a 268% year-on-year increase.
The surge was fueled by strong demand for the Mona and P7+ models, with the Mona exceeding 15,000 deliveries and P7+ surpassing 20,000 units.
Li Auto followed with 29,927 deliveries, bringing its total historical deliveries to 1.16 million. Leapmotor achieved 25,170 deliveries and reported Q4 2024 profitability.
Xiaomi’s SU7 delivered over 20,000 units, pushing total deliveries beyond 150,000.
Meanwhile, Nio recorded 13,863 deliveries, including 7,951 under the Nio brand and 5,912 under Onvo.
Overall, EV sales declined from December due to the Spring Festival holiday and fewer working days, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
