XPeng Aeroht unveils split flying car at CES 2025

XPeng Aeroht introduced its split-type flying car, the “Land Aircraft Carrier,” at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The vehicle has two parts: a land-based vehicle and a flying module.

The ground vehicle, called the “mothership,” features a six-wheel design with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering.

It requires an ordinary driver’s license to operate.

The flying module features a six-rotor, dual-ducted design with foldable arms and carbon fiber propellers.

Deliveries of the “Land Aircraft Carrier” are set to begin in 2026, with over 3,000 pre-orders reported to date.
