Xiaomi Q3 revenue rises 22.3% to $16b
Xiaomi reported a 22.3% rise in Q3 revenue to 113.1 billion yuan (US$15.9 billion), as the company expanded further into EVs.
The figure missed analyst forecasts, which averaged 116.5 billion yuan (US$16.4 billion), according to LSEG.
Adjusted net profit for the quarter jumped 80.9% year-on-year to 11.3 billion yuan (US$1.59 billion), beating the 10.3 billion yuan (US$1.45 billion) expected by analysts.
Xiaomi, the world’s third-largest smartphone maker, also produces home appliances.
Shares in the Hong Kong-listed firm ended down 2.8% at HK$41 after the results, though the stock is up 18.2% year-to-date.
