Xiaomi said on August 19 that its unaudited second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 9.9% quarter on quarter to 108.9 billion yuan (US$16.2 billion).

Adjusted net profit increased 2.4% to 6.2 billion yuan (US$920 million), despite higher memory costs and tougher competition.

Its smartphone and AIoT segment generated 84 billion yuan (US$12.5 billion), while its smart electric vehicle (EV), AI, and other new initiatives segment contributed 24.9 billion yuan (US$3.7 billion).

Xiaomi said its smartphone shipments stayed in the global top three for a 24th consecutive quarter.

Omdia also ranked the company among the top three worldwide for smartphone shipments in the quarter.

In EVs, Xiaomi delivered 104,199 vehicles in the quarter.

Its smart EV, AI, and other new initiatives segment posted a 19.2% gross margin, according to investor relations material.

Xiaomi’s second-quarter research and development spending rose 18.9% year on year to 9.2 billion yuan (US$1.37 billion).
