Xiaomi Corporation’s billionaire co-founder Lei Jun has revealed the company’s first electric vehicle, the SU7, which stands for “Speed Ultra.”

With Contemporary Amperex Technology and BYD supplying the batteries for the new EV, Xiaomi aims to compete with brands like Tesla and Porsche and be a leading automaker within the next 15 to 20 years.
