Chinese President Xi Jinping will host a meeting with 20 to 30 top private-sector entrepreneurs in Beijing on Feb. 17.

Attendees will include leaders from China’s major technology firms, including the “Six Little Dragons” from Hangzhou.

The discussion will focus on advancements in key technological sectors and comes ahead of China’s annual legislative and political advisory sessions, where strategies for economic recovery and trade challenges with the US will be addressed.

The meeting follows major developments from firms like Huawei and DeepSeek, which have launched advanced technologies to counter US trade restrictions.
