Vietnam’s electric vehicle (EV) company Xanh SM has partnered with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), as Indonesia continues to grow its EV industry.

The collaboration, facilitated by Indosat Business, aims to integrate information and communications technology (ICT), Internet of Things (IoT), and analytics to develop smart mobility solutions in Indonesia.

The partnership will start with a six-month pilot phase.

During this phase, both companies will test and refine mobility solutions before implementing them more broadly.

Indosat will provide connectivity solutions through its card management platform and Cisco IoT control center.

The focus will be on improving operational safety by tracking driving metrics such as speed and acceleration, with tailored mobile packages to assist Xanh SM drivers.
