X said to post $752m Q3 revenue, up 17% YoY

X, the social platform owned by Elon Musk, reported US$752 million in revenue for Q3 2025, up over 17% year-on-year, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Sales exceeded US$2 billion for the first nine months of 2025.

Despite higher sales, X posted a net loss of US$577.4 million in Q3, driven by restructuring costs.

EBITDA for the quarter reached about US$454 million, up 16% from a year earlier.

Ad remains the main revenue stream for X, though the company has also pursued subscriptions and data licensing.

X’s business remains smaller than when Musk acquired it in late 2022, with Twitter reporting US$1.2 billion in Q2 2022, its last earnings as a public company.

The financial details were not made public, and an X spokesperson did not respond to request for comment.
