Wiz acquires Israeli cyber firm at estimated $450m

Wiz, a major player in cloud security, has acquired the Israeli cyber firm Dazz.

The mostly cash deal is estimated to be worth US$450 million, though the exact amount was not officially confirmed.

This acquisition is Wiz’s third in a year, following purchases of Raftt and Gem Security.

Dazz, founded in 2021, created a platform that automates the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

This technology will be integrated with Wiz’s new product, Wiz Code, to enhance early detection and management of code vulnerabilities.
