WeWork India raises $152m from anchors ahead of IPO

WeWork India has raised 1,348.3 crore rupees (US$152 million) from anchor investors ahead of its IPO by allotting 2.08 crore shares at 648 rupees (US$7.30) each to 67 investors.

The Bengaluru-based workspace operator is launching a 3,000 crore rupees (US$338 million) IPO from October 3, 2025 to October 7, 2025, with shares priced between 615 rupees (US$6.93) and 648 rupees (US$7.31).

The offer is fully an offer-for-sale of 4.63 crore shares, with Embassy Buildcon selling 3.54 crore shares and WeWork Global selling 1.09 crore shares.

WeWork India will not receive IPO proceeds as the funds will go to selling shareholders, valuing the firm at 8,685 crore rupees (US$978 million) at the top price.

The company operates 7.7 million square feet across eight Indian cities and expects its stock to list on October 10, 2025 with allocations across institutional, non-institutional, and retail investors.
