iFlytek has announced the expansion of its voice recognition technology, now covering dialects from all prefecture-level cities across China.

The technology supports 201 dialects from 288 cities, revealed at the 2024 Global 1024 Developer Event.

During the event, iFlytek introduced its new multilingual model that also supports languages like English, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

It was demonstrated in applications such as in-car voice interaction and real-time search.
