VNG founder Le Hong Minh steps down as CEO
Vietnamese technology company VNG Corporation has announced that its founder, Le Hong Minh, will assume the position of executive chairman of its board of directors and legal representative from Monday.
Minh’s appointment follows the resignation of Vo Sy Nhan as chairman due to personal reasons.
Minh will vacate his current CEO role, as required by law. As executive chairman, he will manage the company’s daily operations and strategy.
Minh founded Vinagame, which later became VNG, in 2004. VNG’s digital ecosystem includes Mobile Games, Zalo, Zalopay, and digital business solutions. The company employs around 3,600 people in 11 cities worldwide.
