Visa has partnered with BVNK to pilot stablecoin payments through Visa Direct, its money movement network.

BVNK, a global provider of stablecoin infrastructure, will support Visa Direct in select markets by enabling some business clients to pre-fund and distribute payouts using stablecoins rather than traditional currencies.

The initiative aims to expand payment options for Visa Direct users, including the ability to send digital dollars directly to recipients’ wallets.

The pilot will begin in regions with high demand for digital asset payments, with plans for wider rollout depending on customer needs.
