VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle maker, said it opened 21 electric motorcycle showrooms in the Philippines on July 31 and launched three models, Evo, Feliz II, and Viper.

The move expands its presence in Southeast Asia’s large two-wheeler market.

In the Philippines, the models are priced from 70,000 pesos (US$1,100) under a battery-subscription plan to 107,300 pesos (US$1,700) with batteries included.

The company said Evo can travel up to 150 km on two fully charged batteries, while Feliz II and Viper can reach top speeds of up to 90 km/h.

VinFast said all three motorcycles support battery swapping and let buyers either buy batteries or pay 439 pesos (US$7.2) a month for each battery.

It also said partner V-Green plans to deploy 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets across the Philippines, and owners will get free public battery swaps for one year, capped at 20 swaps a month per vehicle.

The launch follows VinFast’s opening of 20 electric motorcycle dealerships in Indonesia in July 2026 and comes as demand for electric motorcycles is growing in the Philippines.
