VinFast, the Vietnam-based electric vehicle (EV) maker, said it had opened 20 official electric motorcycle dealerships across Indonesia, with grand openings scheduled between July 19 and 25 in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Medan, Palembang, and Makassar.

Following a product launch in Jakarta on July 18, VinFast said its Evo, Feliz II, and Viper models would be available with either battery ownership or a battery subscription plan.

The company also said V-Green, its infrastructure partner, would offer free battery swapping for one year, capped at 20 swaps per motorcycle per month.

The rollout expands VinFast’s existing presence in Indonesia rather than marking its market debut.

The company entered the country’s electric scooter market in February 2026 and said it planned to establish hundreds of authorized dealerships and service workshops nationwide this year.
