VinFast, an electric vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam, has partnered with Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corporation to explore the secondary use of EV batteries and potential circular economy implementation.

The firms aim to develop battery energy storage systems from recycled EV batteries to promote sustainability while decreasing global greenhouse gas emissions.
