Viettel launched its Open RAN 5G network, featuring in-house developed equipment.

The network launch aims to establish over 300 sites by early 2025. There are plans for further expansion domestically and internationally.

This commercial launch follows the 2022 collaboration announcement between Viettel and Qualcomm.
