Vietnamese food-sourcing firm Kamereo has raised US$7.8 million in a series B funding round, which makes its total funding exceeding US$15 million.

The round included investors like Sumitomo Corporation, SMBC Venture Capital, and Mitsubishi UFJ Capital.

The new capital aims to expand its operations across Vietnam, which includes enhancing product offerings and developing new services.

Kamereo also plans to establish logistics and sales networks in new cities, focusing on central Vietnam.

The company has recently expanded to Hanoi, adding to its operations in Ho Chi Minh City.
