Vienna’s Connecting Software opens Malaysia office
Connecting Software, a Vienna-based enterprise software company, said on July 2 that it is opening an office in the greater Kuala Lumpur area in Malaysia.
The site is its fifth worldwide and first in Asia, and will serve as a development and support hub for the company’s business continuity planning and data synchronization tools in Asia Pacific.
The office at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 2 is expected to house 10 to 15 employees and support a follow-the-sun customer support model, the company said.
It said Asia Pacific revenue grew by more than 200% in the past year.
Connecting Software also said it has worked with five Singapore government departments, including a recent project with partner NTT Data Singapore.
Its products connect Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
They are designed for midsized and large enterprises, as well as public-sector organizations.
The expansion comes after Malaysia’s cross-border data transfer guidelines took effect on April 29, 2025, requiring transfer impact assessments and other safeguards for some overseas personal data transfers.
