V-Green Indonesia, the local unit of EV charging company V-Green, and PT HK Realtindo (HKR), an Indonesian property developer under Hutama Karya Group, signed a cooperation agreement on Aug. 10 to develop an EV charging hub in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The companies will lease an 8,747-square-meter site for the project, which is due to begin operations in October.

The hub will have 36 EV chargers and 20 battery-swapping stations for electric motorcycles. It will be able to serve up to 56 electric cars and 220 electric motorcycles at once.

The deal follows an April 2026 memorandum of understanding (MoU) between V-Green Indonesia and Hutama Karya Group, HKR’s parent company, to explore EV charging hubs on the group’s land.

The MoU also covers charging infrastructure across 29 rest areas along the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road.

V-Green was spun off from VinFast’s charging-station development division and said it prioritizes support for VinFast vehicles.

In Indonesia, V-Green said it plans to deploy about 63,000 ports for VinFast electric vehicles by the end of 2025, with a projected US$300 million investment.
