RapidCanvas, a New Delhi-based startup that combines an AI platform with field AI engineers to build and manage custom AI applications, said on October 16 it raised US$29 million in a series B round led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India.

Hitachi Ventures and existing investors, including Accel and Peak XV Partners, also joined the round.

RapidCanvas said the funding brings its total raised to US$52.5 million.

The company plans to expand its sales teams and partner network, and grow its field AI engineering team across India, the US, and Brazil.

RapidCanvas said more than 75 enterprises had made 1.4 million AI-led decisions using applications built on its platform so far in 2026.

Separately, IndiaAI tracks funding trends, while a LinkedIn post said that 10 Indian AI startups collectively raised US$300 million.
