US cloud data firm Veeam to acquire Securiti AI for $1.7b
Veeam has agreed to acquire Securiti AI for around US$1.7 billion, with the deal expected to close in the fourth quarter.
Veeam, a data resilience software provider based in Seattle, said the acquisition will expand its offerings to include Securiti AI’s data security and governance capabilities across cloud and SaaS platforms.
Securiti AI develops tools for data security posture management, data privacy, and AI trust.
Following the close of the transaction, Securiti AI CEO Rehan Jalil will join Veeam as president of security and AI.
Veeam will continue to offer Securiti AI’s Data Command Center and plans to add new integrated features.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
Morgan Stanley advised Securiti AI on the transaction, while JP Morgan Chase provided financing to Veeam.
