Most funding went to large AI companies like Anthropic and xAI.

In Q3, US VCs directed 62.7% of their investments to AI, while globally it was 53.2%.

Overall VC deals total US$366.8 billion this year, with US$250.2 billion in the US.

Despite high funding, fewer startups are receiving venture backing, and fewer VC firms are raising new funds.
