The company’s first location is set to open in Chiba, Japan, approximately 25 miles east of central Tokyo.
A Cabin Company plans to expand to 380 cabins across the Greater Tokyo and Osaka regions by 2029. Further expansions are planned in Seoul, New York, and parts of Europe.

🧠 Food for thought
1️⃣ Wellness tourism boom creates multi-trillion dollar opportunity
The wellness tourism sector that Seveno Capital is targeting is projected to reach an enormous $8.5 trillion by 2027, growing at an annual rate of 8.6% 1.
This represents a major shift in consumer priorities, with 82% of U.S. consumers now placing wellness at the center of their decision-making, particularly among younger generations 1.
While early wellness hospitality focused primarily on luxury experiences, the sector is now evolving toward more accessible and inclusive offerings that appeal to broader demographics 2.
Seveno’s investment in A Cabin Company aligns with market data showing travelers increasingly seek meaningful connections to health, community, and environment rather than traditional hospitality amenities 3.
The focus on nature-based wellness reflects evidence that younger travelers are driving demand for more authentic, restorative, and sustainable wellness experiences 1.
2️⃣ Japan’s rural vacancy crisis creates strategic opportunity
A Cabin Company’s strategy directly addresses Japan’s well-documented “akiya” (vacant home) problem, where over 9 million rural properties sit empty.
This property vacancy trend has accelerated in recent years due to Japan’s urbanization patterns and aging population, creating unique investment opportunities in rural areas surrounding major cities 4.
