US VC firm General Catalyst faces leadership exits
General Catalyst, a firm managing US$32 billion in assets, has seen three managing directors depart amid operational shifts.
The exits of Deep Nishar, Kyle Doherty, and Adam Valkin were reported by sources familiar with the situation.
Nishar and Doherty co-led the firm’s late-stage investment strategy, known as Endurance. Valkin was a leader in its early-stage fund.
Neither the departing individuals nor General Catalyst commented on the reasons for their exits.
The exits follow General Catalyst’s merger with La Famiglia and its acquisition of Indian VC firm Venture Highway in 2023.
