Vast Data has partnered with Shonfeld Data Services (SDS) to build what is expected to be one of Israel’s most advanced sovereign AI cloud infrastructures.

SDS, which dominates more than 70% of Israel’s colocation market, aims to create a national AI cloud ecosystem for both local and international enterprises using Vast Data’s AI operating system.

The project plans to use thousands of Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and dozens of petabytes of data storage, making it one of the country’s largest AI infrastructure initiatives.

Vast Data, founded in 2016 by Israeli entrepreneurs, is reportedly raising funds at a valuation of up to US$30 billion, with investors including Nvidia and CapitalG.
