Users who are blocked can still view posts and follower lists of the blocker. However, they cannot interact by liking, following, replying, or messaging.

X owner Elon Musk explained that blocking access to public posts is unnecessary.

Some worry this could lead to harassment, as blocked users can track public activity despite limited interaction.
