Itron has agreed to acquire Locusview, a utility-focused software and services company based in the US and Israel, for US$525 million in cash.

Itron is a US-based smart energy and water solutions company.

The deal is expected to close in January 2026.

Locusview provides digital construction management platforms for infrastructure operators.

Itron said the acquisition will expand its offerings for utility and city customers.

The companies said the combination will help customers plan smarter, build faster, and operate safer.
