US marketing startup JustAI raises $17m series A

JustAI, a startup that builds AI software for marketing teams, said on June 24 it raised more than US$17 million in a series A.

The round led by Base10, with participation from Y Combinator and Peak XV Partners.

The funding will go toward expanding its engineering and go-to-market teams and improving its platform.

Founded by Neha Mittal and Jeff Hara, JustAI said its platform automates marketing tasks such as personalization, experimentation, and decisioning. The startup also plans to expand into ecommerce and business-to-business (B2B) marketing.

On its Y Combinator profile, JustAI said customers had seen 10x faster experimentation. In a company post, JustAI said its users included Acorns, Notion, Coursera, and Figma.

The startup said it plans to hire more engineers and explore market opportunities in India.

JustAI is entering a segment that includes OfferFit, a marketing software vendor that uses reinforcement learning.
