US’ DOGE says DEI contracts worth $420m terminated
The United States’ Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has said that around US$420 million worth of current or impending contracts have been canceled in the first eighty hours of Donald Trump’s second term in office.
This also includes the termination of two lease agreements. The cancellations primarily involve contracts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Additionally, agreements for vacant properties have been affected.
Further details about the reasons for these cancellations have not been disclosed.
