US digital manufacturing firm Divergent raises $290m series E

Divergent Technologies has closed a $290 million series E round at a $2.3 billion valuation, with Rochefort Asset Management leading the investment.

The California-based company develops digital manufacturing hardware and software for customers in aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors.

The funding includes $250 million in equity and $40 million in debt.

Divergent said the capital will help scale its manufacturing capacity and support new product development.

Founded in 2014, Divergent’s clients include automakers such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, and McLaren, as well as aerospace and defense firms like General Atomics, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Triumph Group.

The company claims its revenue rose over 5x in 2025, and that it introduced more than 200 new aerospace and defense part numbers in the first half of the year, bringing its total to over 600 unique parts across industries.
